Media & Influencer Participation Agreement

By attending the Joy “In The Flesh” event (“Event”), you agree to the following terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and any organisation you represent.

If you do not agree, you must not attend or participate.

1. Assumption of Risk & Conduct
You acknowledge that the Event involves interaction with advanced robotic and AI systems in a live environment.

You agree to:

• Comply with all instructions provided by Joyous staff and venue personnel.
• Maintain a safe distance from Joy and associated equipment unless expressly authorised.
• Refrain from touching, obstructing, interfering with, or attempting to test the physical or operational systems of Joy.
• Avoid entering restricted or operational areas.

Attendance is at your own risk. Joyous shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your failure to follow instructions or from unauthorised interaction.

Joyous reserves the right to remove any attendee at its sole discretion.

2. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to Joy — including but not limited to her design, likeness, branding, behavioural systems, character concept, name, trademarks, trade dress, proprietary technology, audiovisual elements and associated materials — are owned by or licensed to Joyous.

Nothing in this Agreement grants you any ownership interest in Joy or related intellectual property.

You may not:

• Reproduce, replicate, reverse engineer, extract, adapt, or create derivative works based on Joy.
• Use Joy’s likeness for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
• Use footage or imagery of Joy for AI model training, synthetic media creation, or dataset development.
• Register trademarks, accounts, domains or commercial products incorporating Joy’s name or likeness.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Filming, Usage & Attribution Requirements
You are permitted to capture and publish content from the Event for editorial, journalistic, or social media purposes, subject to the following:

• All posts must include visible tagging of @bejoyousai (or official Joyous handle as provided).
• All content must credit “credit: @bejoyousai” in captions or on-screen where applicable.
• You must not misrepresent Joy’s capabilities or imply sentience, autonomy, endorsement, sponsorship, or commercial affiliation without written approval.
• You must not associate Joy with political messaging, defamatory content, misinformation, adult content, hate speech, or unlawful activity.

Failure to comply may result in a request for removal.

4. Non-Exclusive Licence to Joyous
By attending and creating content at the Event, you grant Joyous a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

• Repost, share, edit, reproduce, adapt, publish, distribute and publicly display your Event-related content;
• Use your name, likeness, handle and published content for promotional, marketing, editorial, and press purposes.

You retain ownership of your original content.

5. Confidentiality & Restricted Information
You agree not to disclose, publish, or distribute:

• Proprietary technical information;
• Operational systems, control methods or internal processes;
• Non-public product roadmap details;
• Confidential event logistics prior to public release.

Any filming of backstage, operational equipment, or restricted areas without consent is prohibited.

6. No Endorsement or Partnership
Attendance does not create any partnership, agency, endorsement, or commercial relationship between you and Joyous.

Any commercial use, brand integration, or ambassador relationship requires a separate written agreement.

7. Removal & Enforcement
Joyous reserves the right to:

• Require correction or removal of content that breaches these terms;
• Deny access to future events;
• Pursue legal remedies where appropriate.

Consent & Acknowledgement
I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the Media & Influencer Participation Agreement. I grant Joyous permission to repost and use my Event-related content in accordance with Section 4.
